Keep yourself focused and log your progress with this unique take on the Pomodoro technique.
The idea for Pomodoro Logger came about when I realized that, after a hard day’s work, it’s often difficult to recall exactly what you did that entire day. What if there were a way to help you remember what you did throughout the day in bite-sized chunks?
Leveraging off the popular Pomodoro time management technique, this project allows you to both use the pomodoro technique to give yourself manageable blocks of work throughout the day, and at the same time, keep track of what your goals and accomplishments are during those blocks.
I worked on this project with a fellow coding bootcamper Alexei Ilinykh. The framework we used was Ruby on Rails. My partner worked on a number of both back-end and front-end implementations, including the timer and the textarea character counter. I worked on the UI/UX design, visual design, the implementation of these details, the implementation of the activity updates and display with Ajax, and several other front-end and back-end details.
